Okay... I'm gonna do a break-down of each of those mentioned characters.

Foxfur: Seemed to have gone on for some years, and he was clearly saddened by her death. But since we don't know anything about her it can't really be her. (Unless there's a one-night-stand I somehow missed...)

Maleen: Well, their relationship lasted for about six years... but seems like they pretty much went their different ways after he left Sorrow's End. Or... where they together again during a scene in SaTS?

Vurdah: Same as above, except I'm pretty much certain there weren't any SaTS scene. Of course she seemed to be a lot more in love with him, than he was with her. Or maybe it was just how she felt it.

Ruffel: Their relationship meant enough that they were able to re-kindle it after 10,000 years apart (okay, only for her). Obviously shocked by her death.

: Seemed like a pretty strong relationship, went on for some years after the Reappearance of the Palace. Couldn't become much before the whole Disappearance thing for... obvious reasons.

Newstar: Seems like a one-off thing.

Might still be hitting it off every now and then, but seems mostly like a (long-term) fling.

Freetouch: Again, seems mostly like a fling.

Well... they only just got into the relationship. And dunno if they fact that you wrote had a longstanding relationship with eliminates her.


So... Ruffel, Aroree or Timmain? (if yes, don't say which one... obviously.)

Sex isn't a love affair. It's a roll in the furs. The only relationships he really had were Foxfur, Ruffel and Aroree. Only one of them was shown to have had a one night stand afterward.

It's not Timmain.
