| Oh... I just kinda didn't think Windkin and Aroree has just having had a one-night stand. After all, if Pike and Vaya, who for obvious reasons didn't get to take it much further, are considered lovemates, why wouldn't Windkin and Aroree, who could easily have continued being together, be considered as such? | By that logic, Redlance and Moonshade could be lovemates. Or Dewshine and Sust. Any two characters could, since we haven't seen for absolute certain that they didn't. And then what's the point of the game? If everyone's been potentially in love with everyone and had a relationship that we didn't see depicted, then there is no real way to determine any answer when the word lovemates is part of the puzzle.
It wasn't shown in the comic. It wasn't even hinted at. I think it's a great idea for the purpose of fanfic. But for the purpose of the game- not so much so. | |

| There's not suggestion that those pair's you mentioned ever got it on.
It's been shown pretty clearly that Windkin got together at one point were together. However, it simply hasn't been shown if they continued being together. (Or if Ahdri joined in on the fun) Of course they can't really show it, because the relationship between Aroree and Windkin isn't really important for the story.
But again... the EQ.com bios agrees with me
So I'm not saying that any two people are potential lovemates/sex partners, what I'm saying is that if two people are explicitly stated to have an attraction towards each other - even if might mostly be physical - I see no reason to not consider them lovemates. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| I wonder what's the point of the discussion - for the purpose of game - anyway?
There are different points of view by different people. And there is a bandwidth
- from "there was at least hinted that more could have happened"
- to "let's stick with what was explicitly shown or said".
I think both is acceptable - Redhead's wider interpretation (which may be proved or ruled out by further story developement) and Lunakat's restriction on prove positive. As long as it becomes neither too hypothetical nor totally restricted on plain fact it's a win ... an additional attraction of the game.
Learning how different a situation/ a relationship is considered by others is a bonus for me.
I love Lunakat's resourcefulness when it comes to descriptions for different relationships and I like Redhead's playful creativity when it comes to probabilities. Both tickles my wits in different ways.
I also see how this can be puzzling when gamers settle close to the opposite poles of the bandwidth.

| I don't think there is anything wrong with imagining characters having a relationship. I just think it wouldn't be hard to actually play if we include too many things that we speculate about but that aren't shown. Just in a technical sense. That's all.

| Well... I'd once again like to point out that Aroree and Windkin were shown. And they're listed as lovemates in their EQ.com bios. I'm not saying that you should have listed them as lovemates I'm just saying that I missed the linked because I would've listed them as such. Just as I would've missed the  -  link because I only Work with "first degree" relationships.
