I kinda figured that, eventually. My confusion was because I saw the nest and the hint, then Kahvi and Windkin turned up, and for me the most strange and soap-operaish relationship-thing those two were involved with was the whole mess with the four characters I mentioned. After all; nothing strange or soap-operaish about the relationships Windkin has been in... and at that time I wasn't 100% sure all nests were build around one "initial character".

Wolfie picked up her special friend Skywise ... it was so clear that THIS picture have been meant for you, dear friend. *hugs* A starcrossed nest is showing nicely now. I really love how this Skywise egg turned out!
And two other girls wanted to accompany our stargazer to huddle in another nest ...

... which was completed when Redhead dragged in a reluctant Skot. ^^ Don't try to mess with the chieftess! The nest is well filled finally.

G0lden seemingly found even one more girl for Pike ... sleepy me has sent Krill to the wrong nest! She'll move in with Skywise or I'll risk ire!
And there is Picknose again - probably too attracted by the golden bait to stay ...

... where Evil Evie had already put him! You gut got the first Troll (this was really a typo! XD) ... followed by katcombs with Guttlecraw ... and Greymung. Really pretty wart the way he's ingrained in his egg, Shadowpath! So who is missing?


Ah... this explains that. Hm... thinking about Windkin's relationshps once more ...
- he mourned his lost love Ahdri so much that he whished for death to be with her spirit again ...
- shortly after he was reunited with her - alive and healthy - he had a roll in the air with Aroree ...
- (totally in-elf-character) ... and is now shown in a happy relationship with Aroree ...
- EDIT: forgot to mention: hooked up with the girl who kidnapped him as a babe ... O.o
- inbetween he volonteered as sperm donor for the lifetime lovemate of his deceased sire.
Right - nothing strange about this. Totally normal relationship developement for DALLAS and DENVER CLAN. *scratches head* ... how exactly did I come up with soap opera...? ^^

What's it with this mystery guy ... the one next to Thiro's egg (above) is unmistakably Rayek.
*slaps head* It is Thiro's egg, Redhead. A broken egg - dead Thiro on the outside of the big shell, living Thiro reflecting from the inside of the corresponding lid.

(I've done this before ... with Lutei in the "Beloved Dead" Advent calendar.)

I wouldn't call some 40 years "shortly after", even for someone as long-lived as Windkin.
Besides, I was kinda joking. Though, perhaps with Kahvi the main factor was that he didn't think of her as "his father's lovemate", but simply one half of that couple he'd been travelling with for centuries, possibly millennia. I suspect he'd find it a lot weirder to have a kid with Tyleet.

No mention of the rescue of Teir here. That did indeed happen shortly before he fetched Venka - and hooked up with Aroree - but the reunion with Ahdri was long before that, right after Korafay's birth.

The Chieftess caught the Queen ^^ ... appropriate prey, Redhead. Now she's waiting impatiently to move in with her admirers ... once the nest will be complete.
