I love my crescent Embala! She's even in color! So pretty!

I'm a late bunny, friends ... too tired to do any hatching the last two days. ... but there are still gifties lying around unfound. I blame Easter vacations. High time to deliver the found ones at least!

Welcome Startear! Never too late for good wishes. We had a fun time indeed! I've missed you ... you were in my thoughts ... and then my mind came up with an egg that seems to be made for you. It's hatched and dropped ... hiding well. Look for it in last year's territory ... but for someone who was never seen before. Good hunt!

Still some eggs to hatch ... I'm slow. They are less eggs I "have to do" rather than some I want to do ... There's still time for a gift - a symbol of spring and well wishes.

I knew you would know where to look .. and be determined enough to dig her up! Sounds like my thought was right ... a new Troll warrior girl for you! It was hard to get her in place ... she refused to stay IN the egg. ^^ It's man-made "mineral" - crysallized bismuth. Let's imagine it's Troll made!

Express delivery! There's your egg, Storm ... just an unknown humanized elf. When I've first seen him/her in the comic I thought: "This would be Storm!" ... The colors. The homeplace. And in a strange way the look of the elf ... The chrysopras egg I found was so close to this magical wood.

Love seeing the larger versions of the gift eggs. Such pretties.

Ok, I promised you I'd explain the motives behind these, and I'll try.

In my mind, showing Winnowill's nest as nice and pleasant wouldn't have been right because there's nothing good about Winnowill or the relationships she forges.

Voll: If you don't tie Winnowill's possible infanticide, possibly making every single female Glider barren and hurting/killing other Gliders for her own amusement in Rogue's Curse together with her motive to keep Voll in place then her relationship with Voll is the least damaging one. 

It's all about keeping him 'still' and in a fog. 

Smelt: Disregard RC, and this guy is what causes Winnowill's own downfall that got her started on just doing what she wanted. Which is hurting and destroying nearly everything she comes into contact with.
Their relationship is mainly about desires,needs and pardon the expression, mind fuckery.

Rayek: The moment of a downfall Rayek never really recovered from, if you ask me. Rayek is all about getting a new tool/toy to help her realize her plans. It backfired on her immensely because Rayek is completely obsessed with her and seems to view her as the most glorious of the High Ones' one of the few who are either on the same level as he is or might even be above him and need to brought down to his level.

That human who was the villain in Shards: I donno, I picked it because shows a despot completely losing it and basically turning into a screaming, mindless human brute.

The Winnowill-Cutter egg: Honestly I just always liked the picture. Felt it was kinda impressive she bend like that.
But it show what kind of character Winnowill is.

Last egg for a friend has finally been hatched and hidden.   Still waiting for three gift eggs to be handed over to their owners - might take some more time.

The new nests are linked in the second post now and the gift egg collection is updated (including the unfound eggies ... ^^). Time to close the thread for this season.



Thank you for being my inspiration and practical helper this season, Shadowpath! I would have hardly managed this 90 eggs schedule in time without you suggesting and gathering EQ motives. There wouldn't be such a variation of looks and creative ideas without your "twisted" point of view and inspiring box talk this year. Thank you for convincing me that Winnowill needs a different nest and for sharing your thoughts about it again. I really wanted to have them here im my thread to remember.
