Me tired. Feeling good, just exhausted...    

Just back from having a pint at a going away party for another friend at work. Happy to see him escape that place...been a tough week there and I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday.  

Not loving all this rain and colder weather...think I will relax this weekend with a big pot o' stew and some fresh made Irish soda bread.

I'm feeling okay...ugh last few days were some of the worst I've had in years. I gave up alcohol years ago and only had a little every year or three. Starting going out for drinks with friends over the last few years and had some fun...but most of the time one or two lousy drinks and the room starts spinning. I *hate* that feeling...reminds me of my stupid college days when I was an immature nitwit.

Anyway...a friend at work got me into these craft beers and after a few days in a row of just having 2-3 a night my body basically told me "ENOUGH!". I just seem so damn sensitive to alcohol...anyway I think I gave myself a mild case of alcohol poisoning...I got sick as a dog and had to stay in bed for a day since I completely lost my sense of equilibrium...standing up was not fun at all.

I feel like an idiot...but this was one of those slap in face wake up calls that made me realize that I've had enough of drinking for a while and I cannot even think of beer without getting nauseous. It feels so damn good to stay home, rest and eat some healthy home cooked food...now that my stomach can handle it again. It was kind of kind of like my 41 year old self saw my 20 year old self in my party days in the mirror and said "yeah, sorry buddy, you're not coming back. Ever!"

Sigh...just so happy to be feeling better. Should be back to 100% in a few more days.

Tired! Drove 17 hours yesterday to finally get to New Orleans... happy to be here again finally and all excited, but damn if I'm not still tired from being stuck in the car for an entire day. Ugh.

Get better, Nibblet. And try not to stress.

I feel stressed and worried. I got my exam a couple of days ago, and the exam itself isn't that bad to prepare to, but my surroundings of it seems stressing enough. I have plans prepared for almost everything except one of the tasks. I need to try it out first. I hope it works. I hope i get all the things I need.

I feel tired but it's mainly my feet which are, from dancing to live zydeco at the bowling alley...so many different types of people having a blast and dancing together, it made me so happy, and I finally get to show my boyfriend the city I've been bragging so much about
I've missed New Orleans so much, it's so amazing to be back.What's more, one of my dearest friends moved here too, which is wonderful. After hurricane Katrina hit, pretty much 80% of my friends left (I left 8 months before it hit) and never came back. It's nice to have a place to visit where I have a (very) small group of close friends clustered into one place...and it happens to be my favorite place in the country! So, I feel tired but also grateful and lucky.

Tired. Simply tired.

Feeling like I'm NOT in the mood to do what I'm doing now. At the same time I must do it, which makes me feel... SO DONE!!! This is what I wanna do

I hate myself right now. I am a total f*ck up. I had a job to do over the last few days, and I couldn't finish it. I think it's because I have narcolepsy. I keep falling asleep. I suck. I took medication-- but it didn't work. Maybe I was just lazy... I don't know. Maybe I didn't manage my time right.

Either way-- I just quit my job. I can't keep doing this.

I am the biggest loser... but there is no prize for me.

Don't say that, Lunakat. I bet there are many people out there who feel like they cannot manage their job. It's just sometimes society don't get along with real life. I hope you find something new that will fit you more. There's aways something

I had my exam this week that I was sooo nervous about; AND I PASSED!!! I made it! It's almost as I can't believe it! Feeling so HAPPY right now

And I've got a bruise on my knee. For some reason when I visit my parents I end up crawling around on the floor quite often. Not that I mind.
