I registered with the Elfquest site because I didn't want someone else to take the name "Trollbabe" and claim to be me.
Are there any other freelancers on this forum? It's getting to be a popular way to make a living. People who live in countries with few other job opportunities can now work through the Internet. American employers are cutting permanent staff and outsourcing everything. | |

| Hello everyone! After all that has happened in the past few weeks/months when the Scroll was still active and after that abrupt ending I feel I have to write something, too. I have mostly been a reader of the forums for a long time, but I always enjoyed reading all the discussions and coming together of many different people united by the love and fascination of the Elves' world. Everything that could be said about the shutting down of the forums has been said. I felt stunned at first and couldn't believe it. I feared that all those cool and nice people would scatter now or worse adapt to that awful new format of commenting on the official site. How good to see that nothing of that has happened, but instead You have all gathered here anew. And it feels great!  (Even the beautiful "elfmoticons" made it here!) Thank You all for coming together here and sharing what You are, think, feel and dream about.  Glad to be here. Dio | |

| I seriously doubt it since this forum has been here for (nearly) 3 years now.  It was shut down to direct what they wanted to be discussed (EQ only), and where the discussions were placed and controlled (meaning their new discussion board, or Facebook) ___________________________________________________ Compliments go to Embala for bringing a British cat and an American dog together via Photoshop!
