| There was a drawing challenge on Insta about your own horse character in different styles... I couldn`t resist: Altyn in The Last Unicorn style. Slender til meager and metallic shining Akhal Teke are nearest the unicorns than all other real horse races. Altyn in Spirit style: Well THIS was obvious, that had to happen in a horse drawing style challenge. Rain was my base and I changed her head (jawline and nose), eyes and neck to make her more thin. Altyn in Barbie style: GAH! Finding any style for a barbie horse wasn't easy at all and I didn't have a real concept for it at first. And btw I do not like the Barbie world, not even the mermaid version... I choosed the computer animated Pegasus and thinned her head . and this here i like very much: Altyn in Disney style. At first I thought there wouldn't be a suitable horse for an Akhal teke, or well perhaps Mulan's. But then I remembered "Once upon a Wintertime" and these horses with a swan neck are fitting very good. | |

| yup, thanx, but now it`s time for me to celebrate the happy Harpy Halloween month. Deviant Art has another "Inktober" challenge with prompts for every day. First one was "Gargoyles" Soaron the harpy nicks the Gargoyles from the roof of the cathedral and plays with them! Bad bad boy! Put them back in their place! | |

| ...since these are stone dolls (stoned dolls?) , they can bear being played with prompt of day 2: scurry Sorry, Harpy Soaron is in such a hurry scurry, he flies by to the next prompt... and he passes by the 3rd day ..and won`t be seen, only his little bat friend prompt of day 3: Bat | |

| Prompt day 4 : Scallop Nooooooononononono NO! I cannot draw that without merms, SO NOT! So I decided to split it, I doodled this to get through the Halloween part quickly... meanwhile I was working on this one I tormented the AI on the Wombo website with the keywords "Scallop Realm for Mermaids" and it spit out this image, on which I just needed to flesh out the implied mermaid a bit. This is one of the Yeee and Haken spawn that create an artificially formed realm in the sea/coast (like blue mountain, just in water). Yes awesome, where my imagination stops, the AI can help me. How cool is that? And so I can finally try other techniques and with crazy coloration than just drawing. (Even if it's only with the tablet) | |

| Day 6 Bouquet : Isn`t she a gorgeous harpy beauty and her bouquet fits so good for harpystyle? The base was a AI generated image and I helped to flesh the harpy out a bit more to make her a member of my harpy elf tribe | |

Such a beautiful and romantic harpy. Love. You are very talented incorporating AI generated images. I tried using the drawing software 'Autodesk Scetchbook' and got good results at drawing characters... but I missed traditional mediums too much so I am back at softs pastels, watercolor etc... I'm hopeless.

| Thanx a lot, Prayer! I must admit, that there was not very much to do with the romantic harpy, just ears, a few feathers for the wing and a tiny correcture at the eye, that was all. The merm was more work to do. | |

The Tidestrays may return IF they become alive and kicking for me. Well ... I've gathered my Tidestray tribe - heavily based on Cutter's Wolfriders. A BIG group. No easy naming = no "Wolfrider clones". Possibly not fitting in your Elfgypt AU. Are you interested to learn about them nevertheless, Yeee? If so- should I drop the information in your sketchbook for inspiration? Or better make a thread of my own? ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Yes of course I am interested. maybe we just have a whole new thread for the AU itself and you caN POST all your ideas there. my sketchbook thread is mainly for my Sea Raiders and a little bit other stuff. the AU is already very space consuming. | |

| I must confess i am surprised i don't have pages to catch up on. I've missed your art Yeee. And been watching renaissance fair videos...there is a mermaid shop which also has tails. It made me think of you.
Always enjoyed The Last Unicorn

| Hi Vaeri, I drew a lot in the meantime. Check out the Harpy elf tribe thread, with the help of AI generated pictures I was able to produce a contribution for inktober on DeviantArt per day in Oktober. Oktober and November are the months for the seasonal bird elves. And scroll to Embalas last post. there you will find a link to the new thread of the Sun Valley-Tidestray and other elf-tribes AU. mermaid shop? ah great! And look into the christmas thread, there I have a X-mas treee-dress up game calendar and Embala has her annually calendar. Check it out. | |

| I have so many nice AI Christmas background images, that i make as much out of them as I can. Here is one of my favourite ones. It has underwater houses that do not match Elfquest-elves, so it is more suitable for the Orcamerpeople. I used one of my "mermaid scene maker"-guys and changed him slightly ( gave him some black outlines and more). Mme Meduse the witch, has created a safe retreat for herself, her female companions and her enchanted males, hidden from outsiders by a magical protective shield. Here they live far away from the dangers of the open sea. Momentarily they prepare for the new years eve... | |

| Since there is now the new Avatar film, I thought to myself. Check out Snap Chat. There are a few matching filters. This was one of the two best. You look like an avatar hybrid, which the hoodie went well with. The only thing it doesn't have to offer are ears, so I had to add and paint these. | |

| heh heh, looking like Grace, lol. I didn't even notice that, but it's possible that the filter here was a Grace mask. Lilipad wanted to have a NaVi of her own, so I choosed one of her photos and added some ears. I always have to make more corrections, the eyes are always not quite right. | |
