And then they're of course quickly invited to join the fun! You know it! The Sun Villagers used to know how to party just as hard as the Go-Backs (just with more flowers and less weaponry), and I bet the snow elves would be happy to help 'em remember...

| Are there just certain Elves who can grow their hair down to their ankles, or is it everyone? If the latter, what would hunting be like if no one cut their hair short?

| Lazy. ^^
Just lie down in a group with your manes wide spread - until the game gets tangled in the tresses! Moonshade's curly mat turned out as especially effective. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| BTW Wolves don't grow long beards, and elves without wolf-blood grow no beards at all, so I assume beards only grow to the length of Treestump's. ___________________________________________________ | |

| When the Wolfriders arrived, Leetah had some kind of catlike pet in her hut. The Cutter showed up with his wolf. The pet is gone by the time the twins are born. Did Nightrunner eat it, or did it just die a natural death? ___________________________________________________ | |

| ^ In the novelization of the journey to Sorrow's End, Nightrunner sees the cat and trots after it, licking his chops expectantly. In a moment of still-fresh outrage, Leetah grabs his tail to prevent further mischief.
That was one of a few little add-ins in the novel, which generally stuck faithfully to the original comic-book story otherwise.

| We're the Sunfolk inspired by the 4H when they came up with the trial of Head, Hand and Heart and couldn't use health because there wasn't always a healer involved? ___________________________________________________ | |

| Speaking of, ...if the Sunfolk are that helpless without a healer, how did they manage to survive that long until Leetah came around? Unless you are telling me that they were perfectly capable of doing just that for millennia until those last meagre 600 years after Leetah was born ___________________________________________________ It's a dolphin!

| I actually think it was stated that that's exactly what happened. Leetah practically started healing everything to the point where the other Sunfolk became dependent on her. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| Speaking of the Sunfolk, what if Savah's family didn't actually flee their home in the woods (or whatever) because of humans?
What if it was because of pollen? ___________________________________________________

| A question that must be answered in time to send her a Father's Day card or gift this Sunday.
When Tyldak asked Winnowill to reshape him, did he stop to consider how he was going to deal with toilet functions? ___________________________________________________

| Tyldak was never the brightest star on the sky, so no, he didn't. Especially considering all this fur in his nether region. Actually he was quite smelly. Fortunately, Dewshine never minded, Wolfriders are quite smelly as well (the leathers, the leathers*!). Kahve of course, didn't mind either. However, the Gliders certainly did, which is why he only hang out with other social outcasts like Winnowill.
After reading Evil Evie's lovely short story about an alternative ending for KotBW... If wrapstuff was biodegradable, it would rot and it wouldn't keep the elves fresh and juicy for 10.000 years. But if it doesn't, isn't more like plastic? Shoudn't Forbidden Grove be covered in the stuff? Or did the elves burn it/ bury it? Are they environmental offenders?
*Once I bought a small leather whip in Mongolia as a present. The leather was untreated/ unfinished and it smells like dried rumen. Guess Wolfriders smell the same. Well, dried rumen is a dog snack, so... the wolves should love it ___________________________________________________ It's a dolphin!

| I've imagined a sort of interaction between the wrapstuff and the living being within.
As long as the wrapstuff holds a living being and stays (mostly) uneffected by external damage it is extremely durable. And we learned that Preservers enviously guard their cocoons and try to mend any damage asap.
In case the cocoon structure is broken the material becomes prone to decay ... and once the living being has left the shell or died it will decompose like spiderweb. Like an aweful mass of spiderweb. XD
Okay, this argumentation is not very scientific but Preservers and wrapstuff are highly influenced by magic. I'm ready to roll with it. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| I've been thinking this over (and recalling some specific images) and I think reason the wolfrider's cocoons survived for 10.000 years is because the Preservers where there to maintain them.
If they're not, the cocoons start degrading. ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'

| That's what I went with! The preservers seemed very protective of their cocoons and what lay within. You may argue that that's to prevent others from tampering, but I also imagined that it was to keep an eye on the very slow decay of wrap stuff. ___________________________________________________ | |

Yup. Considering how often we see them around the cocoons. ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'
