That's GREAT, Redhead! Exactly what I was looking for ... now all I need is some more time to create "Specials". *crossing fingers*
But I have a big plea, Redhead - can you edit your post and turn the picture into a link? Please? The full page breaks my screen and in a thread where I work alot scrolling right and left all the time is kinda messy.
If I'll find the time and can work with my Methusalem comp ... I might need more. Would you be interested to be my helping elf and pathfinder?

As in; find the scenes you'd like to use? Sure.
I could also send them to you as PMs.

Oh NO! The Winnogrinch has come to town , she stared at me from a window of the C&A clothing store on an "Ugly Christmas sweater". "You better watch out , you better ... cry....I`m telling you why, Winnogrinch is coming to town...!"
The bauble text says: "I am here for the presents!" "She`s making a list, she`s checking it twice, she`s gonna find out, who`s naughty or nice..." WTF does that mean? "She sees you in the sleep.." OMG, this is soooo Winnogrinch, somebody help me, she is after meeeeeee! First it was Embalas comp. and now it`s me!

Love the baubles! And there's actually something quite nice about the familiarity of being able to - vaguely - recall having seen the baubles before.
And, yes! I've been baublified! Almost didn't find her; sneaky Ember was hiding from me.

yes, this is interesting. I can't really recognize who is in the tiny intermediate frame, but the black sending already gives away the Grinch. what will these unexpectedly appearing intermediate images do in the end? Is that supposed to be a riddle? Or a special game? I am curious. You do well at surprising and adding tension to an old game, Em.

Thank you, G0lden I hope you can see nost of the decorations and will enjoy Advent time with us.
Gotcha! No chance for sneaky Winno-Grinch to escape an experianced hunter like you. Speaking of your hunting skills: YES, I'd love if you hunt and bring in scenes where Elves and other beings fight Winno-Grinch! Of course I have most of the "usual subjects" and scenes in mind
... and ...
but I like to learn about your view on it and then there might be more - like brave little Ember. If I'll find the time some of these scenes will be banned in bigger baubles to decorate the thread. Please post the links here in the thread, Redhead - preferably not in a big cluster but day by day. This way "Fighting the Grinch!" will be part of this season no matter whether my bauble plans will work out. btw: The calendar actually has an "Advent theme" - can you figure it out, Redhead?
Welcome to the Advent thread, Leanan! Your grinchy dolls were perfect and sparked whimsical ideas. More will be welcome.
But for today I got gifties by Prism ... she also dealt with our dear Grinch

Please copy the code they send - edit your post of Nov 29 - replace your picture code by the new one - and ...IMPORTANT... delete the two in the coding - send it. This should shrink the Grinch to handy size!

Thanks again, Yeee! There will be more grinchy bits ... I hope this gives the the calendar a topic and distinctive character of it's own. Everyone can use their own imagination to make sense of these snippets - a riddle, a game, a little story? Doesn't it look like Rain sensed a disturbance? ^^

Sorry, Embala, I put the picture on servimg in the garbage can and can't even take it out again (it will be deleted in 20 + days. I couldn't edit it at all. Me and computers!
"Everyone can use their own imagination to make sense of these snippets - a riddle, a game, a little story? Doesn't it look like Rain sensed a disturbance? ^^"
Okay, maybe a story? Panel 1 , Suntop: "Incoming message, captain... I only get vague scraps of words...or feelings. hailing frequenzies open!" Panel 2: a beloved dead appears in the bustle of colorful apparitions through the rotating scrolls of colors. "Then find out what's behind the call" Panel 3: Tyldak: "Oh no, better not! It could be..." he starts to shiver. Panel 4: another beloved dead Rain, who sensed a disturbance "Huh..?" Panel 4/2: somewhere else: BLACKSENDING "Muahahahaaaa...I'll screw up your stupid Christmas Eve ! Panel 5: more beloved deads in the palace appearances: Bearclaw: "It's time we called the children to let them know that we will visit them this Christmas." She: "... or much more that we haunt them" (oh my, poor Leetah, the parents in law are coming to town.) Panel 6: another beloved Sunfolk dead is summoned and wanders from the desert back to the palace. ...

Hmm... one scene that springs to mind is the "I forgive you" scene between Reef and Winnowill, when they were healing Rayek. Unfortunately, I only have Final Quest in physical form, so can't post a link.

So you have a Christmas cap and a thinking cap, Redhead? Love to see you as a baublehead!
I know the scene you're talking about. Another one I'd forgotten about ... another one I would have missed! https://comiconlinefree.net/elfquest-the-final-quest/issue-16/17 Of course you can go for the before mentioned "usual suspects" as well - just point me to the scene YOU have in mind! So far we have:
Oh no nonono ... I've didn't mean that you delete your contribution, Yeee - and set Winnowill freeeee... *runs back to catch and bottle the Grinch* You cannot edit your posts? Does this mean Winno-Grinch is reaching out for the Linux penguin now? You've actually started to make it a story! Little Suntop is reading the Scrolls and gets warnings, parents-in-law are coming to town ... and a Winno-Grinch who's already there! And you made me realize that all my contributions so far were dead - that's creepy!

Thank you for the kind comment, G0lden!
You have a special Christmas tree, Kat - like a waterfall of light! And instead of flowers you grow candy sticks! ^^ By the way - December 6th is St. Nicolas Day here ... the day when our "Santa Cllaus" brings treats and small presents for the kids.
Thank you for the love and praise, Fairyring I'd be glad to see you visit more often and enjoy Advent time with us. About the 12 Nights ... it's a place for the darker sides of EQ. This calender part will start in two weeks. Who's your current favorite ElfQuest character? (or characters in case it's hard to decide)

Dunno why I got the idea that Bearclaw and Joyleaf were the 1st Sunday in Advent...
As for a "battling Winno-Grinch" scene. Dunno if it counts, but I guess you could say that when Skimback and Daboi were healing Rayek, the were indirectly battling Winnowill; keeping Rayek from dying to keep her from escaping.

@Tynami: Awwww cute decorations, the light-willow is beautiful. I would also like to have such a Christmas picture projector. Unfortunately, that doesn't match our red brick facade. And the candy canes are cute! We have a normal X-mas tree , and my mobile does not like making photos in the dark.
@Embala: Thank you so much for saving me from the Winnogrinch. (wipe the sweat from my forehead) We can now store the bottle in the deepest cellar in 5 nested and well-stuffed boxes. I will certainly never open this special liquor in my life.
the ongoing story: ... Panel 7: Trinket knocks on the Cutter's door: "Trick or treat.!" she yells. Panel 8: The Cutters open the door. Mr. Cutter is terrified of this nasty little belated green Halloween creature, he takes her for the Winnogrinch (because of the green skin tone), screams in panic and flees. Meanwhile, Mrs. Cutter learns that she will be haunted by her in-laws at Christmas and also flees in sheer panic. Panel 9: The pet of the Cutters is happy that it now has the whole house to itself and will pee in it unrestrainedly from the basement to the attic. Panel 10: The rental nomads next door immediately move into the house of the Cutters and begin to spoil it with the help of the pissing pet. The first Christmas party is already rising, with Trinket (and her sweets as the catering service) and pet and some street bums as guests ... Panel 10 1/2 : Someone grinchy peeks around the corner and enters the mess in the Cutters house. Now is the chance for the real Winnogrinch to strike, isn't it? We will see.

Blame the Grinch, Redhead. Maybe next Advent window will help with the Advent theme ... and a hint: Only a Forum Insider can spot the connection. ^^ I figure you have not scrolled back - perhaps you'll Click the LINK I'll keep Skimback and Daboi in mind in case I need more Grinchbusters. ^^ Will you look for a scene with the usual suspects? Or ... maybe Pike?
Good for you, Yeee ...
