I'm happy Law and Chaos was so entertaining for you, Wolfie. I 've promied you a special surprise for the last doors. Ready in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...?

Not Adya. You see an unusual portrait of a dreamer who wished he could fly - Tyldak! Nerd information: the winged ornament is the "golden snitch" from Harry Potter. ^^
You've noticed it! I've chosen Bowki's ornamant exactly because of this background. And I've found the one portrait of Kimo I really like - the "oldfashioned" style from HY #4 in the big healing scene. Now that you've mentioned it I see the resemblance - it's Krim. I've used this extreme close-up and needed "borders" to frame the face ... the rope was practical and the color of the bauble was perfect.
Pink for Ruffel was a must do. About the star - once again I've needed an unusual shape to make the chosen picture fit. This one was so cheerful ... and the flower should be free like Ruffel.

The Djun had to wait long for his place in the Nights. The crystal thingies are probably just light reflections. The special effect of this sphere was the copper "bowl" around the bottom half. It was turned into Grohmul's armor. ^^
I've added the flames to make the beast looks good. You remember the "lord of the Shapechanged" for sure, Wolfie - I've nicknamed the twisted bear creature "LotSch",
Zey is another typical baddie. And he has chosen his bauble. I swear - he made the alternative one disappear when I've tried to ask a friend which one is better. XD And in the red light you see Nunkah, the third absolute villian - Shuna's first husband, also called Spider.
Of course the Lords of Law and the Gliders must have a "comparison ornament"! And it was great to design it the way it looks now. I'm really proud of this one. The second glider had to jump out of the bauble before he was hit by Strongbow's arrow. ^^ Making it this way was FUN!
The sword demon was another special bauble - one that "made itself" in a way. When there are not special "Nights" for a series, the baddies show up around the turn of the year. And the rainbow ... it mirrors the sky in the background. And even in L&C there's a new day comoing after the end of wolrlds, isn't it?
All these versions of Elric reminded me of different EQ characters or single drawings from the EQ series. Last Elric reminds me of Aurek from the KAHVI series. I definitely prefer this version before the FQ zombie in the Palace. As this drawing of Elric was uncolored I had another chance to do something special.
This rose fairy complements the earlier dragon/gargoyle ornament. Both refused to be banned in a sphere as usual. And I had baubles with roses handy.
Flamefang claimed a special bauble, too. I imagine the "dots" are light sparks or firey embers. A glowing home for a dragon. And his horns were breaking free.

Another pretty baublehead ... ... because I like!


Moonshade nagged her way in, G0lden. Looks like she really wanted to be in the L&C calendar ... as a dead one. I've just realized that Moonshade missed a place in the Beloved Dead calendar! No wonder she insisted on an entry elsewhere.

You ability to draw variant believable body shapes is admirable, Yeee! And I adore hpw you capture you scenes in motion - like a snapshot.

My Ravenwing is a slender High-One-like elder ... and yes, she's considered wise and a spiritual leader. And she most likely has some dangerous traits and powers - last not least she's a daughter of Winnowill and Haken! Mostly on the "good" side, tho ... (No ... I've never watched Avatar - some day I should; prefarably the 2D version)

Vaeri's Harpy is another slender "High One" with softer features. A lovely face, artful adornements and veryclose to the doll model. Close - but mor natural and a tad more Human  ... pardon- elfish!

Eleven year old Luna is adorable! A daring youngling. Wild and delicate and determained. Caught in action. I love these meager preteen legs and the expression of exitement and a certain innocent cruelty. Ähm... not exactly like cruelty - be it innocent or not - but you've shown her so lively and believable. after all she's a Harpy Elf and supposed to hunt and defend herself. I totally admire how you've modified the legs and claws to fit the kiddo. Luna reminds me of young Dewshine from the OQ and the flashback in OQ #4.

Aneret makes me chuckle. She has definitely more than one of Haken's traits. Love for red, a peacock tendancy and you should'nt mess with her. She has a certain "motherly" vibe, too ... in the sense of defending her brood fiercly with any means. Why do I get the notion that Aneret (and Yeee) could be your sisters? ^^
I like both versions. Makes me wonder whether Aneret has some shapechangeing power and can boost her beast heritage by will. Or - Harpys somply grow feathers for the cold season? ^^

The new sturdy template definitely has a motherly figure. and it fits well for strong harpy legs!
I love the realism in aneret's figure, Yeee. It shows body diversity - as it was common in early EQ - a believable elder and mother. And it's easy to imagine that the bird elves atake care to be well-padded before white cold is closing in!
Aneret's glance is challenging. "Dare you!" I adore how you've designed the feet of the Harpys. Functional, Stron and blievable for a bird. Furthermore they have aesthetics fitting an elf.

I've cheered when I've seen you have created Soaron's first draft on the maker. Piercing yellow eyes - not a big surprise! ^^ The peacock tail was a surprise ... but I know a peacock is a very defensive bird you should not understimate!
And within days you have im drawn - not on the template but in a fully fleged out action scene! WOW. It's breathtaking.
I adore your talent for drama and expression. Realistic pose and proportions. He turned out gorgeous! Okay ... I don't like so much that he's killed a wolf ... it's most likely in character for a Harpy, tho!

For me it's an extra treat that you show first drafts as well as finished drawings and inked (clean) versions. I love to get a glimpse how picture artists work. And Vaeri's colorings are the cream on the cake. ^^

Brill and Krill turned out gorgeous, Leanan - so true and lively. Delicate and lovely, shimmering with pearls the one - fierce and protective, ready to fight the other.
Darling Moonmirror with her pale hair and little blue dress  - I like this girl and would have loved to see more of her.
Spray was a sure bet, too. Her red lockes with the diadem, the green segrass sleeves ... she always was the next-to-mermaid appearance. I see her as her much younger self ... explains the remaining differencies. ^^
Blonde enigma makes me and guess ... the only posslble blonde one I recall wears a short green dress and no flowing veil-like fins. Just to start: Sandsparkle? Or - is she a Wavedancer at all?

Your praising comments are inspiring and flattering. And - they make the characters more alive any time the catch the eyes of someone else. Teenage Raspberry is Beryl's design. I've just "translated" her into Magical elf style ... with a certain cutie factor intended. Nuriah is one of my darlings - now happily shared with Beryl. Making her and High Ones like Arb on this Magical Elf maker is always fun.
I'm very content how Taleweaver turned out. I wanted to create a member of Beryl's Forest Elves - who can be a self-elf for me, too. An Elder, a mentor, sort of an artist... and a story teller (that's what I'm not ^^). I was playful with her design and tried to keep it functional nevertheless. I will definitely doll her again. The ritual was obviously inspired by the Howl in OQ #4 ... but I think it's more magical/metaphysical in Taleweaver's case. Not necessarily her blood or blood at all. Just something to focus the audiance ... draw them into the story  - Taleweaver probably uses suggestive skills to support her story telling.

Magically altered Abyss is my only boy so far ... and the only one who actually got a story. Ähmm... rather a prequel to his story. ^^ This boy is a pain to doll.

One day he might heal himself and grow legs ... or learn to switch shapes.

Sneaky Redhead is drawing conclusions? Bubbly nest suggests a water connection? Hmm... would have been a good idea to make so! But Ekust for nest #7 does not fit this idea.  
There may be Old Wavedancer eggs ... somewhen later? Or not - because I'm nastybad gamething? Or I just decided it is time to complete the character threads that were listed on the old Scroll? ^^ Stay tuned.

You had a good and fast hunt, G0lden! Good old Ekuar  "phoned home" in no time! And even skilled was not able to hide for long.

A Game of Thrones #4

You'll have to gather seven eggies to fill this nest properly!

I've said it before - "Artemerika" shows her heritage, Prism! #1 and #3 emphasize beauty and grace of her mother. #2 has the vibe of her father at war - in very old comics. I like the lash instead of a lasso for her. #4 is my favorite - the best mix of both parents.

Those critters are darling. *loves them all to pieces* Okay, I like the blackish one best - he caught my eyes first. And I like the green one because of her jewel eyes.

A dragon and his bond ^^ in unusual colors. Harmonic contrasts. The rider reminds me of katcombs' Sorien - must be the hair.

Last not least a surprise trio. Halloween calling ^^ ... they are beautiful demons! Shryke - dark and dangerous yet playful. Celeste (the middle one, I guess) - inviting and dangerous. And Moelle ... she's just pettable. *scratches litty demoness*

I like the first drawing with them both lying on the bed. Darkfire is sleeping - her back turned to the viewer. Zharo lies on his back, guarding her sleep and playing withe some orbs. He looks both caring ad bored - kinda cute. I love that you gave them different positions - makes it natural and ... gives tension picturewise.

Good details at the second one - the board with the bottle and the firepot oven. I like this oven - something you have at home in a similar way? I love that you put enough thought into their way of life to spice your drawings with home comfort details.

My favorite drawing is the third one - it is the most lively, most speaking one for me in this post. You have foreground and background, a seize difference due to perspective and a working pose. Love it.

Same principle with the fourth drawing - I cannot tell you why it doesn't work equally well for me. It seems ... empty. A matter of shadingmaybe? Or the picture composition? Picturewise #3 looks fab for me ... and #4 kinda boring. Unfinished. I tell you because you might be able to figure out the reason and it will help you with future drawings.

The last one is somewhere between the other two. I like how Darkfire collapes - pose and "visible movement" work perfectly.

for 1 - #4. The Fool - too much affraid to change the timeline (and not the hero/killer type either) and no idea who to meet and what to ask. And I'd feel like being in one of my nightmares ... "get out of here before something bad will happen!"

for 2 - #4. Delete it. Most probably I won't give a sh!t ... my curiosity in this field is underdevelopped. And I'd be afraid of malware - with little knowledge how to protect my comp.

for 3 - #1 and #2 equally ... Spring and Fall is my comfort zone.

I'm boring this time. ^^

Who was the taste-tester while the Palace Dwellers experimented with making food from the elements? I have this image of the Baker going off a la Arthur Dent and tea about how Attempt #4 is exactly not like bread.
